Liveblogging
So....
I am standing in Gallery OneOneOne blogging straight to YOU! We will be on and off of ustream constantly all week next week. On Friday we will be having an "Open Webcam" day.
This means that, much like an open mic night, we will be asking for people to come in to the gallery and perform on chatroulette.
What IS chatroulette, you ask?
Chatroulette.com is a website that allows viewers to watch what you are doing on webcam. You can see who they are and interact with them or perform for them. The nature of our exhibit is to talk about what intimacy is and dealing with the implications of it online. This is the perfect chance to play around with this concept. Come in and play!!
We'll be posting more information as time goes by, so keep tuned!
In the mean time check out chatroulette.com and think about what you would do if you were in a gallery and broadcasting yourself. We will have props here to inspire you, and you are welcome to bring your own as well!
